Turnstiles is a small, independently run project. Here is what we collect, why, and who can see it.
Your account. Your first and last name, a username, your email address and a password. The password is stored scrambled by our login provider, so nobody can read it, including us.
Your profile, if you add it. A bio, a home location, a profile photo, and which annual passes you hold.
What you log and post. Check-ins and miles walked, food and festival reviews and scores, wait time reports, ride and food tallies, photos, and your Want to Try lists.
Your location, only if you ask. When you choose to verify a check-in, your device's location is read once and compared with the park's location. Only the result is saved, as a Verified badge on that visit. The location itself is never stored. You can turn location access off in your browser or phone settings at any time.
Photos. Photos are resized before they are uploaded, which also removes the hidden location data many phone cameras attach to them.
Invites. When you invite a friend we use their email address to send that one invite, and keep a record of it so the daily invite limit works.
Reports and blocks. If you report something, we keep the report so it can be reviewed. Your block list is private to you.
Technical information. If something breaks, an error report is sent to our monitoring service with details like your browser, device type and the page you were on. We also count page visits with a privacy friendly analytics tool that uses no cookies and does not follow you to other sites.
This information runs the core features of the app. Your check-ins power the leaderboard, your reviews show up on the food pages, and your photos show up in the community gallery. Your email is only used for login and account related emails, like confirming your account and password resets. We don't use any of it for advertising.
Turnstiles is a community app, so most of what you add is visible to other people: your username, your name (unless you turn off Show my full name in Edit Profile), your avatar or profile photo, bio, home location, annual passes, check-ins, reviews, wait time reports, tallies, photos, and Verified badges. You can hide your check-ins from the Activity Feed and your public profile in Edit Profile.
These stay private: your email address, your password, your Want to Try lists, your block list, the reports you file, and your location.
We don't sell your data and we don't run ads. We use a handful of services to run the site, and they only handle your data to do that job:
Pages also load fonts from Google Fonts and code from jsDelivr, which see your IP address the way any website you visit does. Live wait times come from themeparks.wiki, and nothing about you is sent there. Donations are handled by Ko-fi, and their privacy policy covers anything you give them.
You can edit your profile, delete individual check-ins, reviews, or photos, and change your password at any time from your account settings. You can delete your account at any time from Edit Profile. That removes your profile, check-ins, photos and lists straight away. The ratings and wait times you contributed stay on the site as anonymous community data, because other passholders rely on those numbers, and they are no longer linked to you.

Turnstiles is not meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child under 13 has made an account, email us and we will delete it.
This policy may get updated as the site grows. The date at the top shows when it last changed.

By using Turnstiles you're agreeing to a few basic ground rules.
Turnstiles is a free tool for logging theme park visits, rating food, and sharing photos with other passholders. It's run by one person, not a company, and it isn't affiliated with Disney, Universal, or any theme park. Park names and other trademarks belong to their owners.
You must be at least 13 years old to make an account. You need an account to check in, rate food, or post. Keep your password to yourself and let us know if you think someone else has access to your account.
Turnstiles has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. Don't post anything hateful, sexually explicit, violent, threatening, or illegal. Don't harass, bully, or impersonate anyone. Don't post spam, and don't post photos or content that aren't yours to share.
Everything you post is your own responsibility. If you see something that breaks these rules, use the Report button, and you can block anyone you don't want to see. We review reports within 24 hours. Content that breaks these rules gets removed, and anyone who posts it can lose their account.
You keep ownership of your reviews, photos, and everything else you post. By posting, you give Turnstiles permission to show it on the site and in the app. Delete it and it comes down.
Wait times, ratings, and reviews are submitted by users, not verified by us. Don't rely on them as official park information. A Verified badge means the device reported a location at that park when the check-in was verified. It isn't a guarantee.
If you use Turnstiles on iPhone, Apple's standard terms for apps from the App Store also apply, alongside these.
This site is provided as is. We do our best to keep it running smoothly, but we can't promise it will always be available or error free.
These terms might change as the site grows. Continuing to use the site after a change means you're okay with the update. Questions go to help@goturnstiles.com.

Open Turnstiles in Safari, tap the Share icon at the bottom of the screen (the square with an arrow pointing up), scroll down and tap "Add to Home Screen," then tap "Add" in the top right.
Open Turnstiles in Chrome, tap the three-dot menu in the top right, tap "Add to Home screen" (or "Install app" if you see that instead), then confirm by tapping "Add" or "Install."
Once it's added, just tap the icon from your home screen any time to jump straight in.
Which parks do you hold passes for? This helps personalise your feed.
Reporting this content. We look at every report and act on the ones that need it.
